The successful candidate will programme, set and operate Fanuc-controlled Turning machines, producing high-quality precision engineered components for a wide range of industries.\nThe role offers a competitive salary up to £37,500 per year dependent on experience, company bonus scheme, generous annual leave, free onsite parking and excellent overtime opportunities with enhanced rates of pay.\nAs the CNC Machinist (Turning Setter/Operator) your key responsibilities will be:\nProgramming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled Turning machines.\nProducing high-quality precision machined components to engineering drawings.\nReading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances.\nCarrying out tooling changes and machine set-ups.\nInspecting finished components to ensure quality standards are maintained.\nIdentifying and resolving machining issues where required.\nMaintaining a safe and organised working environment.\nSupporting production targets whilst maintaining high standards of workmanship.\nThe CNC Machinist (Turning Setter/Operator) will have the following skills and experience:\nPrevious experience programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled Turning machines is essential.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings.\nStrong background within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.\nExcellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.\nPractical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.\nYou will be working 37-hours per week between 8.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday, with Friday's off.
