Actual earnings depend on the number of tasks completed and successfully approved.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for experienced General Counsels and technology transactions lawyers to help evaluate and improve how AI systems handle real-world contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining.\nYou’ll apply practical legal judgment to simulated contract negotiations and contract review scenarios, assess AI-generated responses, and develop objective evaluation criteria for measuring the quality of AI performance.\nThe role is particularly suited to lawyers with substantial in-house technology transactions experience and hands-on expertise negotiating commercial agreements such as MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs, and DPAs.\nWhat You’ll Do\nPerform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.\n\nReview and assess AI-generated responses to contract scenarios.\n\nEvaluate whether proposed contract language appropriately identifies and addresses legal and commercial risks.\n\nProvide detailed expert feedback to improve the accuracy and precision of AI-generated contract analysis.\n\nCreate objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining tasks.\n\nApply practical judgment to assess contract language, risk allocation, and negotiation positions.\n\nCollaborate with product and research teams to refine evaluation data, guidelines, and best practices.\n\nTranslate complex legal reasoning into clear, actionable feedback that can be used to improve AI systems.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nAt least 3 years of in-house legal experience focused on technology transactions.\n\nStrong hands-on experience negotiating and reviewing commercial technology agreements.\n\nExperience with:\nMaster Services Agreements (MSAs)\n\nNon-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)\n\nInternational Swaps and Derivatives Association agreements (ISDAs)\n\nData Processing Agreements (DPAs)\n\nStrong contract drafting, negotiation, review, and redlining skills.\n\nExceptional written and verbal communication.\n\nMeticulous attention to detail.\n\nStrong analytical and legal reasoning skills.\n\nAbility to translate legal expertise into clear, structured feedback.\n\nExperience working with cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.\n\nInterest in the application of technology and AI to legal work.\n\nPreferred Experience\nPrevious experience with AI or legal technology.\n\nExperience contributing to legal training, evaluation, or knowledge initiatives.\n\nExposure to AI-assisted contract review or legal workflows.\n\nExperience developing legal evaluation frameworks, guidelines, or quality standards.\n\nEngagement & Compensation\nRemote contractor engagement\n\nPart-time, task-based work\n\nHourly rate equivalent of $90-$130/hr\n\nAverage handling time of approximately 3.5 hours per task\n\nCompensation is tied to completed tasks that meet project specifications and are successfully approved\n\nActual earnings depend on task availability, completion time, and successful task sign-off\n\nThe annual compensation figure is a full-time equivalent based on 40 hours per week and 48 workable weeks per year.
