SUMMARY: Our client is an EC&I engineering company working on mining and industrial projects. They need a detail-oriented CAD Operator to produce engineering drawings that support their design engineers. What you’ll do: Draft electrical and instrumentation designs to client specifications and project deadlines Update and revise drawings promptly as designs change Compile, update and maintain design documentation and design packs Check drawings for accuracy against specifications and design criteria Keep organised records of drawings, revisions and related documents POSITION INFO: Minimum requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 Certification in CAD or draughting 3 to 5 years’ draughting experience in an engineering environment Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems and their components Knowledge of drawing procedures and specifications Proficiency in software Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills and the ability to work in a team
