# Test Development Engineer

SUMMARY: A well-established industrial company in Modderfontein is looking for a Test Development Engineer to join its engineering software team. You’ll do both manual and automated testing to make sure the engineering software works properly, is reliable and is of good quality before release. You’ll write automated tests in Playwright and put strong C, Golang and Python skills to work every day. POSITION INFO: Key responsibilities Develop and run manual test cases based on software requirements Do functional, regression, integration and exploratory testing Identify, document and verify software defects Design, develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright Convert suitable manual tests into automated regression tests Analyse test failures and help find root causes Develop test utilities and scripts in C and other relevant languages Review requirements and contribute to test planning and coverage Work closely with the Software Development, Engineering and Quality teams Keep test documentation up to date and give feedback on software quality Find ways to make testing more efficient through automation Minimum requirements Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science,
