Work in a dynamic global environment with exposure to innovative tools, diverse business areas, and valuable learning opportunities.\nWhat is in it for you:\n\nSalaried: $67-77 per hour.\nIncorporated Business Rate: $78-88 per hour.\n12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.\nFull-time position: 37.50 hours per week.\nWeekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.\nHybrid work, with 3 days per week in the office.\nResponsibilities:\n\nLead audit and advisory projects in accordance with department standards, resource budgets, and target dates, and report scheduling or budget overruns to the Director.\nUnderstand the risks managed by the business unit and develop concise, risk-based audit strategies and scope.\nLead and coach audit staff assisting on projects and review test procedures and results to ensure test objectives and documentation standards are met.\nExercise sound judgment when evaluating audit findings and developing practical, value-added recommendations.\nPrepare clear, concise, and well-organized audit reports.\nApply analytical skills and remain open-minded when exploring different ways to audit.\nEmbrace and use data analytics to improve audit coverage.\nDevelop and maintain positive relationships with management.\nCoach and mentor junior staff on the team.\nLead various SOX processes, assist with SOX/MAR planning, and provide oversight during walkthrough and testing phases.\nActively follow up on open issues with management, maintain open communication, and lead remediation testing of issues.\nUse technology to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the audit process.\nWhat you will need to succeed:\n\nRequired qualifications\n\nUniversity degree.\n5+ years of internal or external audit, risk management, operations, or equivalent business, advisory, or consulting experience.\nAbility to quickly understand business processes and their risk implications, analyze complex situations, reach appropriate conclusions, and provide value-added and practical feedback.\nPreferred qualifications\n\nRecognized accounting designation, such as CPA or CA, or auditing designation, such as CIA or CISA, preferable but not essential for candidates with good industry experience.\nKnowledge and experience in third-party management and/or AI.\nStrong understanding of risks, controls, and governance practices related to third-party management and/or AI.\nExposure to data analytics tools and methodologies.\nKnowledge of audit methodologies, control frameworks, risk management practices, and SOX requirements.\nSoft skills\n\nAbility to effectively communicate ideas and recommendations orally and in writing and to listen to and consider the ideas of others.\nResults-oriented approach with the ability to balance multiple priorities and projects.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse environments and cultures.\nProven relationship skills, including demonstrated ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.\nLeadership skills in achieving departmental, project, and individual objectives and developing staff.\nWhy Recruit Action? \n\nRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2504511) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach.
