Join a collaborative technology environment focused on innovation, modernization, and continuous improvement, with exposure to modern cloud, data, digital, and emerging AI-enabled solutions.\nWhat is in it for you:\n\nSalaried: $58-68 per hour.\nIncorporated Business Rate: $70-80 per hour.\n12-month contract with potential for permanent employment.\n37.5 hours per week, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.\nHybrid work with 2 days on-site per week, with a third day optional.\nResponsibilities:\n\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and support applications, APIs, and cloud-native solutions.\nParticipate in application modernization, code reviews, testing, and production support activities.\nTroubleshoot complex application and integration issues and implement sustainable solutions.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and deployment automation frameworks.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, monitoring, and operational processes.\nImprove platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency through automation and DevOps practices.\nSupport and enhance modern data and analytics platforms, including Snowflake and related technologies.\nCollaborate with data engineers to support data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and consumption patterns.\nAssist with data platform administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.\nImplement security, access management, monitoring, and governance controls across applications and platforms.\nParticipate in incident management, root cause analysis, vulnerability remediation, and operational support activities.\nEnsure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.\nPartner with architects, product owners, technical program managers, engineers, and business stakeholders.\nContribute to engineering best practices, reusable solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nCollaborate with enterprise technology teams to develop scalable and shared platform capabilities.\nWhat you will need to succeed:\n\nRequired qualifications\n\n5+ years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, DevOps, or data engineering.\n3+ years of hands-on development experience using C#, .NET or .NET Core, Python, SQL, and Blazor or similar web application frameworks.\nProven experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications and APIs in production environments.\nStrong understanding of software engineering principles, application architecture, and cloud-native development patterns.\nHands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.\nExperience working with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, IAM, and CloudWatch.\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes or containerized application deployments.\nFamiliarity with Snowflake or comparable cloud-based data and analytics platforms.\nExperience supporting and troubleshooting applications in production environments.\nStrong understanding of modern software development practices and SDLC methodologies.\nPreferred qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred.\nEquivalent combinations of education, engineering-focused training, and relevant industry experience will also be considered.\nAI engineering, AI application development, or intelligent automation experience.\nExperience contributing to AI-enabled solutions.\nExperience supporting self-service analytics, data products, or data marketplace initiatives.\nExperience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern platform engineering tools.\nExperience working within financial services, insurance, asset management, or other regulated industries.\nWorking knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational database technologies.\nFamiliarity with Power BI, Tableau, and modern analytics technologies.\nExposure to DevSecOps tools such as Snyk, Checkmarx, or similar security technologies.\nExperience mentoring developers or providing technical leadership within agile teams.\nSoft skills\n\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to gather requirements and ask thoughtful discovery questions before proposing solutions.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and collaboration abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.\nProactive, curious, self-motivated, and adaptable approach to continuous improvement.\nComfortable sharing opinions, providing recommendations, and participating in technical discussions.\nAbility to mentor others, drive technical discussions, and influence solution direction.\nWhy Recruit Action?\n\nRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2504511) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach.
