recommend solutions to improve processes, enhance operational efficiency, identify pain points, and optimize development workflows.\nContribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, standards, reusable frameworks, and implementation templates.\nCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to plan, develop, test, and deliver software solutions.\nUtilize Jira and Confluence to manage work, track progress, document requirements, and support team collaboration.\nImplement and follow source control best practices using Git, Bitbucket, and modern branching strategies such as GitFlow and Trunk-Based Development.\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Python and Java.\nParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, security, and adherence to engineering standards.\nSupport and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.\nAssist with infrastructure automation, provisioning, and configuration management using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.\nContribute to the design and implementation of distributed systems and microservices-based applications.\nWork with cloud-native technologies and AWS services to build scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.\nTroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.\nPartner with team members to promote engineering best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans\nWhat you will need to succeed:\n\nRequired qualifications\nBachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\n2-5 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or application development.\nExperience developing applications in Python and/or Java.\nExperience participating in code reviews and applying engineering best practices.\nStrong proficiency in Python.\nExperience with AWS services, including Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, API Gateway, and serverless fundamentals.\nExperience with Git and Bitbucket, including source control, branching strategies, and code collaboration.\nExperience with Jenkins and CI/CD tools, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Harness, or similar technologies.\nStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within Scrum or Kanban teams.\nExperience using Jira and Confluence for planning, tracking, and collaboration.\nUnderstanding of distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices design principles.\nFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and automation concepts.\nKnowledge of modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Preact, or similar technologies.\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.\nPreferred qualifications\n\nAWS, Terraform, or related cloud certifications.\nExperience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code, automation, and provisioning.\nExperience with Snowflake, including RBAC, masking, SQL fundamentals, and data warehouse environments.\nExperience with AWS Lambda for serverless compute and event-driven workflows.\nKnowledge of AWS Data and Analytics services, including Glue Catalog, ETL, Lake Formation, Athena, SageMaker, and S3.\nExperience building cloud-native, distributed, serverless, or event-driven applications on AWS.\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nKnowledge of AWS security and governance practices, including IAM, encryption, and access management.\nExposure to test-driven development, unit testing, integration testing, monitoring, logging, site reliability engineering, or platform engineering practices.\nSoft skills\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.\nAbility to quickly ramp up without requiring deep organization-specific knowledge (preferred).\nStrong debugging
