and execution of interconnection for utility-scale solar, energy storage, and other clean energy projects across U.S. markets.\nThis role spans the full development lifecycle-from early-stage siting through interconnection agreement execution, construction, and commissioning-working cross-functionally to ensure efficient, cost-effective grid integration of the company’s pipeline.\nPosition Details\nTitle: Analyst / Senior Analyst, Transmission & Interconnection\nDepartment: Development\nLocation: U.S. (Hybrid or Remote)\n Key Responsibilities\nInterconnection Strategy & Execution\nSupport all aspects of the interconnection process, including queue strategy, application preparation, and study execution.\nEvaluate transmission constraints, interconnection options, and economic viability to inform siting and development decisions.\nTrack and manage projects through RTO/ISO and utility study processes (e.g., SRIS, Facilities Studies).\nTechnical Analysis & Study Management\nReview and interpret interconnection study results, including power flow, short-circuit, and stability analyses.\nIdentify network upgrade requirements, cost exposure, and schedule risks.\nManage third-party consultants performing interconnection modeling and studies; define scope, review deliverables, and ensure quality.\nCross-Functional Support\nPartner with Development, Engineering, and Construction teams on grid integration risks, timelines, and costs.\nSupport negotiations of interconnection agreements and related technical requirements.\nProvide clear, actionable insights to non-technical stakeholders to support investment and development decisions.\nMarket & Regulatory Awareness\nDevelop working knowledge of interconnection procedures, tariffs, and market rules across key ISOs/RTOs and utilities.\nMonitor evolving regulatory frameworks and interconnection reforms impacting project timelines and economics.\nQualifications\nTechnical Skills\nUnderstanding of power system fundamentals, including transmission planning and generator interconnection processes.\nFamiliarity with:Power flow (load flow), short-circuit, and stability studies\nHigh-voltage equipment (e.g., transformers, breakers, substations)\n\nExperience with power system modeling tools such as: PSS®E, PSLF, PowerWorld, PSCAD, ETAP, or similar\nAbility to synthesize complex technical results into clear, concise recommendations.\nProfessional Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities\nAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment\nEffective communication across technical and non-technical teams\nExperience managing external consultants or technical workstreams preferred\nRequirements\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (power systems preferred)\nExperience:Analyst: 1-3 years relevant experience\nSenior Analyst: 3-5+ years relevant experience (developer, utility, ISO/RTO, or
