The candidate should have a working knowledge of NiFi, be comfortable working in a Linux environment, interact with data ontologies (schemas), structured data types (XML, CSV, JSON), have database experience (MySQL/NoSQL) and analytic query experience with a platform. Candidate will work with numerous concurrent IC-provided data sets to identify, map and model data transformation routines supporting ingestion into the customer's corporate repositories and be able to document new and existing data flows supporting data routing implementations. A working knowledge of smart data systems and entitlements is highly desired, as well as experience with JAVA and Splunk.\nThe System Engineer, shall have at least the following experience:\nFourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.\nDemonstrated experience supporting Systems Engineering efforts is required\nAble to implement comprehensive SOA solutions\nAble to conduct and/or approve end-to-end system trade analyses to optimize system operations over its life cycle through the proper balance of non-functional system performance areas\nAble to ensure effective, periodic review and control of the evolving configuration of a system, both hardware and software components and associated documentation, during the life of the system\nAble to develop system design alternatives that consider life cycle cost, reuse, complexity, risk, system expansion, and growth\nAble to maintain knowledge of current and evolving agency, national, and international standards applicable to the system development of interest\nAble to recommend a preferred solution based on selection criteria\nAble to provide technical direction for the full systems engineering life cycle\nAble to fully define interfaces in terms of origination, destination, stimulus, and data characteristics for software\nTS/SCI clearance with polygraph clearance required\nAdditional Desired Qualifications:\nWorking knowledge of smart data systems and entitlements\nExperience with JAVA and Splunk is highly desired\nExperience with current and evolving agency dataflow and reporting solutions\nExperience in developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large scale systems\nExperience in leading agile development models\nExperience integrating COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendors\nExperience developing and deploying storage within clustered or cloud environments\nExperience planning and integrating secure compliant solutions based on legal, policy, and compliance directives\nSalary range for this position: $175,000-$190,000 #CJ\nThe Red Arch Solutions pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
