Working under general direction, this role independently develops design approaches, performs verification and testing, and collaborates across disciplines to ensure product capability, manufacturability, and system-level performance.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and develop electronic hardware, circuits, and assemblies from concept through verification.\nPerform product testing and create models and prototypes to support development and validation.\nDevelop and document electronic schematics and related technical documentation.\nCreate and execute verification and validation plans for electronic assemblies and circuit boards.\nDevelop hardware bring-up procedures for prototype and production boards, including functional checkout and debug.\nInvestigate hardware anomalies and support corrective actions.\nSupport manufacturing, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems.\nCollaborate with engineers across disciplines to enhance product capability and manufacturability.\nProvide technical guidance or training to junior staff as needed.\nTravel as required to support customer meetings, integration, and testing activities\nRequired Qualifications:\nBS with 5-7 years, MS with 3-5 years, or PhD with 0-2 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field.\nExperience designing electronic hardware including requirements, architecture, schematics, component selection, and troubleshooting.\nExperience developing verification and validation plans and executing test campaigns for electronic hardware.\nProficiency in high-speed digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit design.\nExperience with communication interfaces including I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and CAN.\nHands-on experience with prototype development, debugging, and board bring-up.\nExperience generating engineering documentation including ICDs, ECOs, analyses, procedures, and test reports.\nFamiliarity with PCB layout and wire harness design considerations.\nExperience supporting hardware verification, qualification, and anomaly resolution.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment while independently completing technical tasks.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to travel periodically for meetings, integration, and testing.\nExperience working with flight hardware handling requirements such as ESD controls and cleanroom operations.\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience designing spacecraft, payload, avionics, or aerospace electronics.\nUnderstanding of spacecraft electrical architectures, including power distribution and telemetry systems.\nExperience with spaceflight hardware Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T).\nExperience developing or supporting EGSE, simulators, or spacecraft command and control systems.\nExperience with RF communication systems and antenna integration.\nKnowledge of battery-powered systems including charging and safety.\nFamiliarity with embedded firmware development in C.\nExperience with SPICE, worst-case, reliability, or radiation effects analysis.\nExperience creating test automation or analysis scripts using Python or MATLAB.\nExperience supporting hardware from design reviews through environmental testing and flight
