This role serves as the central point of accountability for program delivery and customer satisfaction.\nReporting to the Director of Program Management, the PM II partners cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and business development teams, while acting as the primary interface to external customers, resellers, US Government, and international Government customers.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nLead end-to-end execution of programs, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and performance objectives \nDevelop and manage program plans, including life cycle, budgets, resource plans, and schedules \nSupport or lead program planning, estimating, and proposal development for complex, multi-phase programs \nEstablish and manage program controls, metrics, and success criteria \nIdentify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks and issues \nCreate, maintain, and manage multiple integrated project schedules \nLead program reviews and execution meetings with customers and executive leadership \nManage scope changes and communicate impacts to internal leadership and customers \nDevelop strategies for delivery of record (DoR) programs and manage relationships with U.S. Government prime contractors \nMonitor and analyze data across programs to identify trends and drive continuous improvement \nEstablish and communicate program priorities across cross-functional teams \nSupport Business Development efforts in capture planning, proposal development, and customer engagement \nEnsure adherence to company policies, processes, and compliance requirements \nPerform additional duties as assigned \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) \n5+ years of experience in Program or Project Management in aerospace/defense \nExperience leading complex, multidisciplinary programs in aerospace, defense, or UAS preferred \nStrong knowledge of U.S. Government procurement processes and Prime contractor relationships \nProficiency in program management methods, tools, and best practices \nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams and government/commercial customers \nKnowledge of export processes and end-user certificate requirements \nProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) \nStrong written and verbal communication skills \nOutstanding time management and task prioritization \nComfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth organizations \nCollaborative, results-driven, and proactive \nDemonstrates initiative, accountability, and sound judgment \nWilling to take calculated risks and lead through ambiguity \nWillingness to travel up to 25% \nThis role requires access to controlled technical data subject to ITAR and EAR regulations. Eligible individuals include U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and those granted protected status under U.S. law. \nAdditional Desired Qualifications\n10+ years of experience in complex Program Management \nPMP Certification \nExperience working with U.S. Government agencies \nBackground in a highly technical or engineering-driven environment \nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions\nMust be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time. \nAbility to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis. \nUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy. \nMay be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations. \nRegular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment. \nOccasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed \nRequires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks. \nBackground Check\nThis position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check.
