guidance to Data Analysts and wider project teams.\nContribute to architectural decisions and cross-functional problem-solving activities.\nEssential Skills & Experience\nStrong experience designing and implementing data warehouse solutions.\nProven experience building ELT pipelines in cloud environments.\nDemonstrable experience delivering complex data migration programmes.\nStrong SQL and data modelling expertise.\nExperience with cloud data warehouses, particularly Google BigQuery.\nExperience with transformation frameworks such as dbt or Dataform.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.\nExperience developing high-quality, maintainable and scalable code.\nAbility to optimise data pipelines for performance, reliability and scalability.\nDesirable Skills & Experience\nExperience within the UK Utilities or Energy sector.\nExposure to Gentrack Junifer.\nKnowledge of Data Vault 2.0 modelling methodologies.\nPython development experience.\nInfrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform preferred).\nGitOps deployment practices.\nExperience with Kubernetes and containerised environments.\nExperience working within a cloud-native GCP ecosystem.\nPreferred Technology Stack\nGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)\nBigQuery\nDataform / dbt\nSQL\nPython\nTerraform\nKubernetes\nGit / GitOps\nCandidate Profile\nStrong hands-on Data Engineer rather than an Architect.\nComfortable operating in a fast-paced product-led environment.\nAble to engage directly with business stakeholders and analytics teams.\nExperience building modern cloud-native data platforms and supporting migration
