In this role, you will work as a subject matter expert in Red Hat’s infrastructure and cloud technology. You'll answer questions about best practices around automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups and lead the on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat’s technology that delivers freedom, flexibility, and outstanding performance. You will gain an understanding of our customers' infrastructures, and business issues and you will make recommendations appropriate to their environments. This is a great opportunity to build on your core base of knowledge and work in a fast-paced environment promoting Red Hat’s solutions.\nWhat you will do:\nImplement automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions with a focus on infrastructure concerns including networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, and high availability and system resilience\n\nServe as a subject matter expert on site, addressing technical, developmental, or strategic IT needs\n\nLearn new technologies and apply those concepts to customer needs\n\nAdapt to changing customer requirements\n\nManage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of complex open source solutions\n\nRespond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner\n\nDeliver quality results both on-site and post-engagement that are on time and within the scope of the assigned project, including project journals, status reports, and other standard documentation\n\nWhat you will bring:\nPrior experience working in a consulting role\n\nGood customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and lead customer interactions\n\nExcellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies on a delivery level\n\nExperience implementing container technologies in an enterprise setting and with enterprise-wide deployments\n\nKnowledge of one or more Red Hat’s infrastructure solutions like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Ansible Automation Platform\n\nExperience onboarding applications and application teams onto cloud or container platforms introducing DevOps, continuous delivery (CD) and application lifecycle management\n\nUnderstanding of the open source community\n\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving and planning skills\n\nWillingness to travel across the region\n\nExcellent written and verbal language skills in German and English\n\nRed Hat Certifications are considered a plus\n\nAbout Red Hat\nRed Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterpriseopen source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
