The expected start date is February 2027.\nWhat you will do:\nHack on Core Storage Tools: Write, maintain, and refactor open-source storage management frameworks using Python and C.\nKeep the Pipeline Green: Manage and improve our CI infrastructure to catch bugs before they ever touch a release.\nContribute Upstream: Submit patches, participate in code reviews, and collaborate directly with global Linux open-source communities.\nMaster System Internals: Learn how the Linux storage stack, kernel interfaces, and distribution builds operate behind the scenes with mentorship from senior engineers.\nWhat you will bring:\nYou must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic during the full duration of the internship and must be able to join us part-time from February 2027 till January 2028\nWorking knowledge of written and spoken English\nPractical experience with Python, a working foundation in C, and comfort writing basic shell scripts.\nDaily comfort using Linux (Fedora, CentOS, Ubuntu, Arch, etc.) and a genuine curiosity about OS internals.\nFamiliarity with Git, command-line environments, or basic CI concepts (even from course assignments or side projects).\nBonus Points: Previous open-source contributions, personal coding projects on GitHub/GitLab, or bug reports submitted to community projects.\nDue to the limited number of internship opportunities and the high volume of applications, we may not be able to speak with every candidate.
