In this role, you will be responsible for working with the Marketing and Sales teams to contact prospective sales leads, qualify them, and set up appointments for Red Hat’s sales teams. This entails following up on inbound leads as well as cold prospecting.\nWhat you will do:\nFollow up on inbound marketing leads\nCross collaborative work with the Sales and Marketing teams to uncover sales leads in new territories through cold calls\nIdentify customer’s business needs and communicate how Red Hat's offerings can address those needs\nCollaborate with the Sales team on account strategy\nMake extensive use of successful prospecting techniques to generate customer interest\nDevelop understanding of Red Hat's technology, offerings, pricing, and licensing procedure \nWhat you will bring\nBachelor's degree, preferably in business, management, information systems, marketing, communications, or related field of study work experience or academic projects in sales, marketing, or information systems\nPublic speaking and presentation skills\nKnowledge of sales techniques and systems like Salesforce.com (SFDC) or Outreach\nWillingness to travel as needed\nExcellent communication, problem solving, time management, and interpersonal skills\nPositive attitude\nDemonstrated success in previous roles\nDesire to make a positive impact on Red Hat's strategic mission\nCuriosity to learn and grow\nAbility to work and learn on your own, as well as on a team\nAbility to understand customer issues and needs and link them to Red Hat's offerings\nAbility to discuss key industry issues at multiple levels within an organization\nMotivated with the ability to work under strict deadlines\nThe salary range for this position is $73,400.00 - $110,040.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay Transparency\nRed Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity.
