In this role, you will act as a trusted technical leader across both pre-sales and delivery, helping customers define and implement their infrastructure transformation journey.\nYou will engage early in the sales cycle to understand customer needs, shape solutions, and support proposals. During delivery, you will lead the architecture and implementation of OpenShift-based platforms, including OpenShift Virtualization, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.\nBy leveraging Red Hat OpenShift, hybrid cloud, and automation practices, you will help customers consolidate infrastructure, modernize datacenters, and adopt a unified platform for VMs and containers\nWhat you will do:\nEngage in pre-sales activities, including customer discovery sessions, workshops, and solution design\n\nPartner with Sales and Account teams to shape opportunities, define scope, and build compelling technical proposals\n\nSupport RFP/RFI responses and present solutions to technical and executive stakeholders\n\nAssess customer infrastructure environments and propose optimized architectures\n\nDesign and implement OpenShift-based platforms, including OpenShift Virtualization\n\nLead migration initiatives from traditional virtualization platforms to OpenShift\n\nProvide technical leadership during delivery, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices\n\nAct as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, helping define infrastructure and platform roadmaps\n\nCollaborate with Product Engineering, Consulting, and Support teams to deliver high-quality solutions\n\nDrive adoption of automation, DevOps, and infrastructure as code (IaC)\n\nContribute to internal knowledge sharing, reusable assets, and best practice\n\nWhat you will bring:\n8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, consulting, or platform engineering roles\n\nProven experience in pre-sales or customer-facing roles, supporting complex solution sales cycles\n\nStrong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms\n\nHands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and migration strategies\n\nExperience with OpenShift Virtualization or similar approaches to VM modernization\n\nSolid understanding of enterprise infrastructure (compute, storage, networking)\n\nExperience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and IaC practices\n\nStrong communication and presentation skills, including executive-level storytelling\n\nAbility to translate business needs into technical solutions and architectures\n\nFluent in English (written and verbal)\n\nRed Hat certifications are a plus\n\nAbout Red Hat\nRed Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterpriseopen source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
