In this role, you’ll actively manage projects to successful completion from initiation through delivery and closure specializing within the Telco services industry. As part of our team, you’ll plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, in budget, and within scope in accordance with business priorities. You’ll manage the project lifecycle, track project status, and manage project teams to mitigate issues and risks.\nWhat you will do:\nDirect complex projects involving multiple stakeholders\nDefine project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders\nDefine, create and execute project plans for project, portfolio, and product prioritization and implementation \nEvaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value\nProactively manage changes in project scope.\nPartner with business sponsors to define success metrics and with other groups which have an impact on the project success.\nBuild, lead, and coach multiple project teams throughout project life-cycles\nProvide frequent on-site monitoring and enforcement of schedules, milestones, and vendor accountability\nFacilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects\nCreate risk mitigation strategies to anticipate, assess and resolve project risks\nPrepare project status reports and present project performance updates to relevant business stakeholders\nDefine and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan\nEnsure all projects meet success parameters and return on investment (ROI) targets stated in the original project proposal.\nWhat you will bring:\nPMP Certification\nAgile methodologies are a plus (i.e SAFe)\nTelcom or Service Provider background\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills\nExperience with stakeholder management and building relationships\nAbility to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment\nAwareness of organizational change management practices\nFocused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability\nUnderstanding of software development lifecycles\nIn depth understanding of project management concepts\nCoordinate with geographically distributed teams and assist in training and coaching in order to achieve project goals\nAbility to collaborate with a diverse, global, cross-functional team\nExperience working with project and portfolio management tools\nExperience in an agile environment\nMore than four years of project management experience\nBachelor’s in computer science, information technology, management or related field (Master’s preferred)\nAbout Red Hat\nRed Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterpriseopen source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
