The expected start date is February 2027.\nWhat you will do:\nContribute to the Python ecosystem in the Fedora Linux operating system, create a new Python package for Fedora, help with updating existing packages and releasing new versions, and work with the Fedora infrastructure\nBased on your interest you will: contribute to upstream Python projects, work with the upstream community, solve integration issues between Python packages and Linux, learn about Python testing frameworks, etc.\nContribute to the GDB project upstream through developing code in Python and/or C/C++, investigating and fixing issues, and working on new features\nUse AI agents in your workflows and contribute to the team’s AI efforts\nWork with experienced open source teams in a welcoming environment\nWhat you will bring:\nYou must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic during the full duration of the internship and must be able to join us part-time from February 2027 till January 2028\nWorking knowledge of written and spoken English\nProgramming languages: experience in development in Python and basic experience with programming in C/C++\nUser experience with the Linux operating system and the git version control system\nInterest in learning new technologies; problem-solving skills, sense of accountability\nThe following are considered a plus:\nA basic knowledge of agentic AI\nPrevious code contributions to or participation in open source projects or code samples on GitHub\nDue to the limited number of internship opportunities and the high volume of applications, we may not be able to speak with every candidate.
