You’ll lead the on-site or remote implementation of Red Hat’s technologies.\nAs a Cloud Consultant, you will work to gain an understanding of the infrastructure and business needs of our customers, make recommendations that will lead to the resolution of their problems, and help them make strategic decisions.\nYou will regularly collaborate with the customer's support teams to troubleshoot complex and challenging issues and join troubleshooting and technical discussions sessions to address technical topics. In this role you'll work closely with application teams to address multi-product issues and must have an acute understanding of the impact of mission critical activities in the cloud. Work location is flexible\nWhat you will do:\n\nProvide guidance to consultants with less experience in order to achieve set goals\nHelp with the implementation of different projects on the scope\nAddress the infrastructure and Cloud platforms according to customer needs.\nDevelop effective and efficient solutions that provide desired performance\nCoordinate the workflow among Cloud teams, users, and yourself\nAnalyze and fix existing code base to address new requirements\nIn this role, you will participate in the customer enterprise development by helping make our solutions both practical and workable for customer businesses.\nYou’ll lead the on-site implementation of Red Hat’s technologies.\nExperiences in Openshift, Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Ansible Automation Platform.\nYou’ll work to gain an understanding of the infrastructure and business needs of our customers, make recommendations that will lead to the resolution of their problems, and help them make strategic decisions.\nDeliver an exceptional customer experience by using professional communication, applying existing knowledge, and deep troubleshooting to resolve a variety of issues.\nCollaborate with other support engineers and other internal teams and external parties during the problem resolution process.\nOutstanding troubleshooting skills and passion for problem solving and investigation\nWhat you will bring:\n\n5+ years of experience as a Cloud or Infrastructure consultant\nSoft skills to lead complex projects.\nExperience working as a support or development engineer for a Platform-as-a-Service provider or hosting service\n5+ years of experience working with Linux or Unix operating systems\nProficient with Kubernetes internal architecture and sound knowledge of container technologies and the tools and challenges around them\nExperience with Red Hat OpenShift configuration, implementation, and support.\nExperience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux.\nExperience with software containers and with implementing software containers\nExperience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Observer\nEnglish proficiency; upper intermediate-advanced verbal, written, and reading\nKnowledge in Automation tools as Ansible Automation Platform.\nAbility to work in a high-performance and dynamic environment\nAbout Red Hat\nRed Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterpriseopen source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
