The expected start date is February 2027.\nWhat you will do:\nParticipate in live system operations and small agile team planning to continuously improve SRE software and support peers.\nWork on code contributions to increase the scalability and reliability of Red Hat OpenShift managed cloud services.\nContribute to software tests and peer reviews while actively sharing knowledge across global, transparent teams\nWhat you will bring:\nYou must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic during the full duration of the internship and must be able to join us part-time from February 2027 till January 2028\nWorking knowledge of written and spoken English\nProgramming language(s): Experience programming in at least one object-oriented language such as Python, Golang, Java, C, or C++.\nOther engineering skills: Basic understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems, along with a demonstrated ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.\nSoft skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong capacity to collaboratively troubleshoot issues in a team setting.\nNice to Have:\nPublic Cloud Technologies: Experience working with public clouds such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.\nContainer Orchestration: Basic understanding of Kubernetes or direct experience with Red Hat OpenShift.\nOpen Source Engagement: Previous code contributions to open-source projects or code samples on GitHub demonstrating your ability.\nDue to the limited number of internship opportunities and the high volume of applications, we may not be able to speak with every candidate.
