The expected start date is February 2027.\nWhat you will do:\nContribute to the development of components of observability solutions that support Red Hat to deliver software to our customers quickly and in a reliable way, with focus on Red Hat’s strategic secure software supply chain solution Konflux\nAssist in troubleshooting and improving existing observability solutions under the guidance of experienced engineers\nSupport users of Red Hat’s Strategic Secure Software Supply Chain to troubleshoot issues with the platform\nWhat you will bring:\nYou must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic during the full duration of the internship and must be able to join us part-time from February 2027 till January 2028\nWorking knowledge of written and spoken English\nExperience in development in Python or Go\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub actions and Tekton Pipelines\nBasic understanding of observability concepts including metrics, logging and tracing.\nInterest in learning new technologies; problem-solving skills\nFamiliarity with AI coding assistants\nFamiliarity in using the observability platforms like Grafana.\nComfortable collaborating with engineers and stakeholders across geographically distributed and cross-functional teams\nThe following are considered a plus:\nKnowledge of containers and OpenShift or Kubernetes and cloud platforms \nExperience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD\nCode contributions to or participation in open source projects or code samples on GitHub\nExperience with coding assistants\nUnderstanding of observability frameworks, such as OpenTelemetry\nExperience with monitoring tools such as Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir and Prometheus.\nInterested in platform engineering, reliability or observability as a career path\nDue to the limited number of internship opportunities and the high volume of applications, we may not be able to speak with every candidate.
