We’re a relaxed and welcoming bunch who believe making games should be fun and rewarding, so if that sounds like your thing, come join us!Responsibilities\nGenerate insights to inform game pitches, game development, and general strategy.\nApply AI tools to advance early-stage development - build on initial requirements to produce well-developed concepts, wireframes, and supporting research.\nAnalyse game data and use it to structure your arguments and suggestions, and to prioritise a backlog of work.\nPitch and promote your strategy within a cross-disciplinary team.\nAct as a stakeholder between external and internal team, presenting and pitching work to both customers and colleagues.\nRegularly report game performance from prototype to sunset.\nWork across multiple projects at any given time, switching between different priorities and contexts while maintaining momentum and delivery quality.\nRequirements\nExperience within the games industry in disciplines such as game design, product management, or live operations. \nStrong understanding of the games market, including current market trends, player behaviours, and emerging opportunities.\nThe ability to use data and insights to identify opportunities, drive product improvements, and measure impact.\nA proactive, evidence-based approach to problem solving, with the confidence advocate for recommendations supported by evidence.\nExperience managing and prioritising backlogs within a development environment; publishing experience is desirable.\nPractical experience applying prioritisation frameworks (e.g., ICE, Jobs to Be Done) to support effective backlog management and decision-making.\nExperience combining qualitative and quantitative insights to develop a comprehensive understanding of player behaviours, needs, and motivations.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience developing concepts and presenting proposals.\nPragmatic and outcome-focused approach to delivery, balancing business value, user needs, and resource constraints.\nBenefits\nSumo understands the importance of having control over your benefits.
