This role provides Tier 1 technical assistance for hardware, software, system access, Microsoft 365 applications, and ERP-related inquiries, ensuring employees receive timely and effective support. This position plays a key role in supporting business operations by delivering exceptional customer service, promoting knowledge sharing, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and helping ensure the reliability and effectiveness of the organization's technology solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide Tier 1 support for software, hardware, access, and other end-user technology issues.\nProvide primary support for ERP-related questions, incidents, and service requests.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and customer-focused manner.\nLog, track, prioritize, and document requests in the IT service desk system.\nEscalate complex issues to internal IT resources or software vendors and follow through to resolution.\nAssist with user setup, application access, onboarding, and basic training.\nCreate and maintain support documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.\nParticipate in testing application updates, enhancements, and process changes.\nWork with employees, Process Improvement, IT, and vendors to support business applications.\nIdentify recurring issues and recommend practical improvements.\nAssist with other IT projects and support responsibilities as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nPrevious customer service, technical support, application support, or related experience preferred.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to learn unfamiliar applications and business processes.\nClear verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong organization, time management, and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple requests and prioritize work effectively.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively with employees, IT staff, and vendors.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting an ERP system or other business applications.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 applications.\nExperience using a ticketing or IT service management system.\nExperience creating technical documentation or user instructions\nCompany Benefits:\nAt Red River Commodities, we value our employees and are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
