The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and committed to maintaining quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nMachine Operation\nSet up, operate, and monitor production packaging equipment according to established procedures.\nAdjust machine settings to ensure product quality and efficiency.\nQuality Control\nConduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.\nReport any deviations or defects to the supervisor immediately.\nMaintenance and Troubleshooting\nPerform routine cleaning and maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.\nIdentify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, escalating complex problems as needed.\nSafety and Compliance\nFollow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.\nAdhere to safety standards and regulatory guidelines, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).\nProduction Support\nMonitor inventory levels of raw materials and report shortages.\nCollaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quotas.\nDocumentation\nComplete daily production logs and equipment maintenance records accurately.\nQualifications\nProven experience operating and maintaining production equipment, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge of food safety regulations and standards preferred.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.\nCertification in forklift operation.\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.\nWork Environment and Conditions\nWork is performed in a production facility with exposure to machinery, noise, dust, food-grade oils, and varying temperatures.\nThe position requires standing for extended periods, repetitive bending, twisting, and reaching, and lifting to 50 pounds.\nRequired personal protective equipment may include gloves, hairnets, hearing protection, and other items designated for the work area.\nOvertime, weekend, holiday, or varying shift work may be required based on production schedules.\nCompany Benefits:\nAt Red River Commodities, we value our employees and are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
