Java and Spring Boot\n\nDesign and develop REST APIs and backend integrations\n\nWork within and help enforce a hexagonal / DDD-oriented architecture, keeping domain logic decoupled from framework and persistence concerns\n\nRaise automated test coverage across domain and application layers and maintain a strong testing culture\n\nHelp introduce architecture-conformance checks, such as ArchUnit, to enforce dependency boundaries\n\nContribute to migrating backend dependencies from early-access or milestone releases to stable GA versions as part of ongoing platform hardening\n\nMaintain and extend OAuth2/OIDC-based authentication and role-based access control\n\nWork with PostgreSQL, database schema evolution, and Flyway migrations\n\nMaintain integrations with external data platforms, including Databricks\n\nStrengthen secrets and credentials management across the codebase and CI/CD\n\nParticipate in code reviews, technical design discussions, troubleshooting, and production incident response\nRequirements\n\n5+ years of professional backend development experience\n\nStrong production experience with Java and Spring Boot\n\nStrong understanding of REST API design and backend architecture\n\nHands-on experience with Spring Security and OAuth2/OIDC flows\n\nStrong PostgreSQL experience and knowledge of schema migration tooling such as Flyway\n\nExperience with AWS\n\nStrong testing discipline with JUnit 5 and Testcontainers\n\nExperience with Docker and container-based deployment, ideally AWS ECS/Fargate or equivalent\n\nComfortable working with or refactoring toward hexagonal, clean, or DDD-oriented architecture\n\nUnderstanding of CI/CD and production engineering practices\n\nEnglish — Upper-Intermediate or higher\n\nNice to Have\n\nExperience
