As the relief operator, shifts and schedules may change to accommodate department needs and fill in for other operators. The relief operator is to have an understanding of all jobs in the General Services department. When not covering, this role follows a rotating schedule. Week 1 working hours are Tues-Fri from 6a-2p and Sun from 6a-12p. Week 2 working hours are Mon, Tues, Wed, and Fri from 6a-4p.\nWhat you’ll do as a Relief General Services Operator:\nDemonstrates an unwavering commitment to Lesaffre's safety-first culture by strictly following all safety protocols and participating in required safety programs\nPrepare crumbled, block or nutritional yeast for shipment, load the trailers as per loading procedure, and fill out the loading paperwork.\nSupply plant departments with necessary raw materials and packaging items\nPerform routine and non-routine cleaning inside and outside the facility as required by the department master cleaning schedule and/or the General Service Supervisor or Lead Operator.\nMaintain the warehouse and cooler keeping each location clean and orderly.\nDocument, inspect and unload materials as per written procedures.\nAssist other departments with cleaning or production functions.\nConvert anhydrous ammonia to Aqua ammonia.\nConvert bulk products to liquid solutions to be used in the plant.\nHook up and unload railcars, as per written procedures.\nAssist in inventory control by monitoring levels.\nMaintain control sheets documenting unloading of all bulk items.\nVerify quantity of items on railcar; verify car is empty to return to RR.\nCross train into other departments.\nSpecial projects directed by General Services Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, or Plant Manager.\nOther duties as assigned\nRequired qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred\nUnderstanding of valves, pumps, pipes, vessels, and batch creation preferred\nRequires ability to operate cleaning equipment and supplies such as vacuum, mop, and floor scrubber\nRequires ability to operate forklift\nRequires ability to prioritize and organize tasks, and follow through to ensure completion of assignments\nCommunication skills and customer service skills needed in relationships with others inside the company\nComputer proficiency is preferred\nAbility to work under
