You will work at the intersection of product, data, and technology, helping customers discover relevant products across our webshop and app.\nAbout the tech stack:\nOur technology landscape includes Databricks, Python, Spark, Machine Learning, Experimentation & Analytics Frameworks, SQL, MLOps, Git, CI/CD, Azure.\n About your tasks:\nImprove product recommendations in our webshop and app, analysing customer behaviour and product data to make recommendation widgets more relevant and useful.\n\nDevelop and refine recommendation models, engineering relevant features and applying state-of-the-art machine learning approaches.\n\nWork on end-to-end Data Science initiatives, partnering closely with Product Managers, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, ML Ops, and domain experts to translate product questions into hypotheses and practical improvements.\n\nDesign, analyse, and interpret A/B tests to measure the impact of recommendation changes. Define success metrics and guardrails, assess statistical uncertainty, and turn results into clear recommendations for the product team.\n\nContribute across the full project lifecycle, from data exploration and experimentation through to implementation, productionizing, monitoring, and continuous improvement, with support from your colleagues.\n\n About you:\nYou have practical experience developing machine learning models, including data preparation, feature engineering, modelling, and evaluation.\n\nYou have strong Python and SQL skills and write clear, structured code that others can work with. You are familiar with Git and practices such as testing and reproducible development.\n\nYou understandhow to develop models for production, including reproducible training, reliable data pipelines, and the trade-offs between model quality, scalability, and maintainability.\n\nYou have practical expertise in A/B testing and experimental design, including metric selection, statistical power, and interpreting results.\n\nYou have a solid understanding of recommendation systems and relevant machine learning approaches, such as collaborative filtering, ranking models, or embeddings.\n\nYou enjoy working iteratively in a cross-functional product team, translating business goals into workable solutions, delivering improvements in manageable steps, and refining models based on experiment results and production performance.\n\n About your benefits:\nIn order to provide you with the best possible support for your individual needs - whether it‘s living a healthy life, having enough time for your family, or developing your skills - we offer a wide range of different, site-specific benefits:\nWork from Home: If your job does not require you to be present in the office, we can arrange the place you work from individually - even for up to 20 days a year anywhere in the EU.\n\nPersonal development: Grow!
