It’s built on shared interests, passion, and trust, and is home to the most open and authentic conversations on the internet. You will help Reddit move beyond legacy moderation approaches toward proactive, intelligent, and scalable community enforcement.\nThis role is for a PM with exceptional product judgment, strong user intuition, and enough AI/ML depth to partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Safety. The right person can shape compelling user experiences, reason about model quality and tradeoffs, and create clarity in a high-stakes, high-visibility space where the product, technical, and ecosystem decisions all matter.\nResponsibilities\nIdentify Reddit’s highest-impact opportunities to evolve evolve community enforcement and moderator workflows, and turn them into a clear product strategy and roadmap.\nLead zero-to-one development of LLM-powered moderation experiences that are critical to how Reddit scales healthy communities globally.\nBuild a deep understanding of moderators, community members, and healthy community dynamics, and translate those insights into high-quality product experiences.\nDefine success metrics and model/product evaluation criteria that connect user value, community health, and Reddit’s broader strategy.\nReason about AI/ML quality, including precision, recall, error costs, coverage, latency, failure modes, human review, and feedback loops.\nAssess high-stakes ecosystem tradeoffs across community health, moderator trust, user trust, safety, and product quality.\nPartner with Engineering, Data Science/ML, Design, Safety, Consumer, and senior leaders to drive execution in a highly visible company priority.\nCommunicate strategy, decisions, tradeoffs, and learning clearly to executive stakeholders.\nMust Haves:\nStaff-level product experience owning meaningful consumer surfaces or systems with measurable user impact.\nExceptional product sense across user intuition, problem framing, prioritization, UX judgment, and product taste.\nTrack record leading ambiguous zero-to-one or major product-evolution work from strategy through launch and learning.\nExperience building AI/ML-powered products, with fluency in model evaluation and product/model tradeoffs.\nStrong analytical judgment, including defining metrics, interpreting evidence, and changing direction when needed.\nExcellent cross-functional leadership with Engineering, Data Science/ML, Design, Safety, and partner teams in ambiguous, technically complex spaces.\nNice-to-Haves:\nExperience with community, social, creator, UGC, trust/safety, or moderation products.\nExperience with ML-heavy consumer surfaces or policy-sensitive AI experiences.\nExperience replacing mature systems with a new product paradigm in complex, matrixed organizations.\nBenefits:\nComprehensive Healthcare Benefits and Income Replacement Programs\n401k with Employer Match\nGlobal Benefit programs that fit your lifestyle, from workspace to professional development to caregiving support\nFamily Planning Support\nGender-Affirming Care\nMental Health & Coaching Benefits\nFlexible Vacation & Paid Volunteer Time Off\nGenerous Paid Parental Leave \nPay Transparency:\nThis job posting may span more than one career level.\nIn addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission.
