Leads, collaborates and demonstrates the lean principles and utilizes the lean methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value creation for our customers, employees and shareholders. Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities.\nPay Rate: $20.89\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nStack a variety of products, ranging from 5lb to 40lb bags onto standard pallets, must be done neat and square. Help monitor product quality including; bags not properly tied, foreign objects, yellow ice and any deviation from standards. Learn to start and stop the line when needed. Keep the area safe and report potential hazards to supervisor. Clean immediate work area and entire facility according to the Master Cleaning Schedule. Make and assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management. Adhering to the Code of Business Ethics is essential. The\nemployee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is\noccasionally required to stand and walk.
