Kitchen Assistant / Cook to join our team at our Hampstead branch.\nOur kitchen team plays an essential role in delivering fresh, delicious food, maintaining high standards of food safety and ensuring our cafés run smoothly every day.\nYou’ll be responsible for preparing food with care and consistency, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and supporting the wider team during busy service periods.\nYou Will:\nPrepare and assemble fresh food, including sandwiches, toasties, breakfast items and other menu products, following company recipes and presentation standards.\nEnsure all food is prepared consistently, efficiently and to a high standard.\nMaintain excellent food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards, including correct food storage, labelling, date coding and stock rotation (FIFO).\nKeep the kitchen clean, organised, fully stocked and ready for service throughout the day.\nFollow food preparation procedures, portion control and waste management guidelines.\nMonitor stock levels, communicate shortages and support efficient kitchen operations.\nWork closely with the café team to ensure food is prepared on time, particularly during busy periods.\nFollow allergen management procedures and company food safety policies at all times.\nSupport new team members and contribute to a positive, respectful and inclusive working environment.\nTake ownership of daily kitchen preparation, cleaning and closing tasks.\nYou Are:\nExperienced in food preparation, ideally within a café, hospitality or professional kitchen environment.\nPassionate about fresh food, quality and presentation.\nOrganised, efficient and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.\nKnowledgeable about food hygiene, food safety and allergen procedures.\nProactive and able to work independently while supporting the wider team.\nReliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.\nA positive team player who communicates clearly and supports colleagues.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.\nCommitted to Redemption Roasters' social mission and creating an inclusive, supportive
