Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nSpecific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nCollect, input, and analyze schedule information quickly and reliably\nGenerate forecasts, variance reports, and other documentation used to monitor and manage projects.\nResearch and reports on various external and internal factors that may impact project success. \nEvaluates current processes and recommends changes to improve efficiency of scheduling of projects.\nReport schedule variances and concerns to project managers and the Director of Project Controls\nAttends and/or establishes department planning meetings with stakeholders throughout the company to build relationships and ensure proper schedule inputs\nFamiliarize themselves with engineering, construction, and procurement processes in order to provide helpful inputs, feedback, and review of schedule durations and logic\nProactively seek schedule and risk information that may impact the project timeline \nRequirements\nDegree in scientific, construction or business field preferred \n2+ years of prior project or construction scheduling experience. Experience in Primavera P6 required. \nExperience with non-routine projects highly preferred. \nMust have the ability to accurately communicate, investigate, solve problems and identify solutions\nMust have experience with standard planning and scheduling methodologies and tools.\nAble to effectively review and understand detailed communication\nMust be self-disciplined, self-motivated and relationship builder\nAble to effectively coordinate multiple, complex requests/projects\nWorking Conditions and Physical Effort:\nAbility to remain in a stationary position (e.g., standing or sitting) for extended periods.\nAbility to move within facility environments, including accessing testing areas and operating instrumentation.\nAbility to handle standard laboratory equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.\nWork may occasionally take place in controlled radiation areas under supervision and within regulatory exposure limits.\nUse of personal protective equipment (PPE), including full Tyvek suit while wearing a ventilated hood, lab coats, safety glasses, and dosimeters.\nWork involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. \nWork environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. \nAlthough flexible work hours may be available, shift-work schedules may be required, and extended hours will sometimes be necessary to complete required work assignment.\nEmployees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily.
