Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.\nDuties and Responsibilities of the Entry Level R&D Chemist:\nPerform experimental and prototyping activities involving chemical and radiochemical handling, processing, sampling, and analysis.\nDevelop experimental designs, test plans, and operating procedures for chemical and radiochemical processes.\nConduct liquid-liquid extraction, ion exchange chromatography, and other separation processes involving actinides, lanthanides, and fission products.\nAnalyze and interpret experimental data and document results in technical reports and presentations.\nOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation.\nPerform other duties as requested or assigned.\nRequirements\nB.S. in chemistry or related scientific discipline.\nWillingness to be “hands on” with new technologies in a laboratory environment.\nAbility to plan and execute experiments, analyze data, and document results.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.\nStrong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.\nEligibility for employment is conditioned on the applicant’s ability to qualify for access to information subject to U.S. Export Controls.
