Role Description
As a Brand Communications Manager, you will lead client relationships and integrated communications scopes across multiple business areas. You are one of the agency’s top project managers; acting as a trusted advisor and primary client lead, taking ownership of the day-to-day relationship while ensuring work is strategically strong, commercially sound, and delivered on time, on budget, and against agreed objectives and KPIs.
At Redgert Comms, Brand Communications is deliberately cross-disciplinary. Rather than working within a single business area or specialism, you will bring together the right expertise across the agency to create cohesive, effective brand communications for your clients.
You will thrive in this role if you are highly organised, commercially minded and confident in advising clients; someone who builds strong relationships, takes ownership, and is curious about different sectors, audiences and ways of solving communications challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading day-to-day delivery of larger client accounts
- Acting as primary client lead in ongoing scopes
- Managing budgets, capacity, and timelines
- Leading cross-functional teams across business areas
- Ensuring work is aligned with strategy and KPIs
- Driving workflow efficiency and team coordination
- Identifying growth and upsell opportunities
- Supporting pitches and proposals
- Coaching junior and mid-level team members
Criteria
- 5+ years’ relevant experience, ideally in an agency or fast-paced in-house environment
- Proven experience leading client accounts and building trusted client relationships
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple scopes, budgets, timelines and stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities for account growth
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and integrated communications work
- Strong strategic judgement and confidence advising clients
- Proactive, solutions-oriented and highly organised, with a strong sense of ownership
- Experience coaching and supporting junior and mid-level team members
