You will have the autonomy to determine and pursue the courses of action necessary to obtain desired results, ensuring our infrastructure and release processes are the most efficient, secure, and resilient in the industry. Your work will directly enable the continuous delivery of high-impact software to our government partners.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as a recognized authority for designing and building solutions to deploy applications in complex, customer-facing environments.\nAutomate the operational aspects of all solutions via code to ensure high scalability and minimal manual intervention.\nWork on unusually complex technical problems, providing innovative solutions for internal development, testing, and release activities.\nDrive practices and processes intended to speed up and automate the software development lifecycle, enabling seamless continuous delivery.\nBuild and set up new development tools and infrastructure required for sophisticated government missions.\nAnalyze stakeholder needs and effectively convey technical requirements to developers to ensure alignment with mission goals.\nContinuously identify and implement ways to automate and improve release processes using state-of-the-art technologies.\nProvide high-level code review and analysis of results to ensure the integrity of the codebase.\nEnsure all systems are safe and secure against evolving cybersecurity threats by embedding security into every layer of the infrastructure.\nIdentify critical technical problems and develop advanced software updates and \"fixes\" for complex system architectures.\nManage large-scale infrastructure projects and processes from inception to completion.\nBuild and test sophisticated automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and maintenance.\nOversee and handle code deployments across all environments, maintaining configuration standards and system stability.\nMonitor system metrics and develop data-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency.\nProvide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on advanced development and operations practices.\nRequired Experience/Clearance\nActive TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.\nBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 10+ years of experience OR a Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience.\nRecognized expertise in DevOps engineering, specifically in designing and building automated deployment solutions.\nDemonstrated experience solving unusually complex technical problems with highly innovative solutions.\nExtensive experience with infrastructure as code, automated provisioning, and configuration management.\nProven ability to work with considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and approaches.\nDesired Experience\nWe encourage all candidates who meet the basic requirements to apply, even if you do not have any of the following experience:\nAdvanced proficiency with GitLab for CI/CD and Jira for project and stakeholder management.\nExperience with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or DataBricks) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).\nDeep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.\nExperience leading DevOps transformation initiatives at an enterprise scale.\nFamiliarity with Spark or other large-scale data processing technologies.\nPrior experience in a consulting or advisory role for high-level government or defense
