This includes managing production, maintenance, safety, quality, and housekeeping. The role involves directing and supervising production operators to ensure productivity, quality, and adherence to company policies. The Extrusion Supervisor works 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. This position reports directly to the Plant director.\nRequirements\nDirect Production & Maintenance: Supervise production and maintenance teams to meet production volume, cost, safety standards, quality, and delivery schedules.\nMaximize Efficiency: Promote maximum efficiency and productivity among production operators.\nAdhere to Safety & Housekeeping Standards: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.\nRegulatory Compliance: Ensure that the plant operates in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations.\nEmployee Training & Evaluation: Train, evaluate, and discipline employees as necessary to maintain high performance.\nContinuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to production procedures to increase productivity, reduce waste, and ensure quality.\nCross-Department Communication: Collaborate with other teams to address problems, delays, or operational challenges.\nMaintenance of Machinery: Ensure all machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained for safe and efficient production.\nAdherence to Clean Zone Policy: Ensure compliance with the Clean Zone Requirements Policy to maintain the integrity of production areas.\nOther Duties: Perform other tasks as required or directed by management. \nMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities “KSA”)\nExperience: Minimum of 2 years of prior supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\nEducation: High school diploma required; additional college-level courses are a plus.\nSkills: Strong leadership and organizational skills; positive attitude with problem-solving capabilities; good verbal and written communication skills.\nMathematical Ability: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.\nDetail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus on quality and efficiency.\nJudgment & Decision-Making: Good judgment and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to Multi-Task: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
