Redis may not contact you immediately following receipt of your application.\nWhat you’ll do:\nHelp customers meet their technology and business requirements with Redis databases using Redis products, solutions and services.\n\nUnderstand, quantify and verify the business needs of customers and their specific use cases.\n\nWork diligently with the customer’s technical teams (architects, developers, PMOs and C-level experts) to ensure the success of all customer POCs and pilots.\n\nCollaborate closely with the Sales team to develop effective account strategies and identify new account opportunities, as well as new business with existing accounts.\n\nPresent the company, its capabilities and technology in a highly professional and exciting way that will engage customers and help them see the business impact and competitive advantages of the Redis offering.\n\nUse customer feedback and insights to improve product materials, technical best practice and technical materials, while providing feedback to Product Management teams and R&D.\n\nWhat will you need to have?\n3+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering (ideally database engineering) for enterprise software\n\nHands-on experience with server-side software development and Linux\n\nExperience with scalable and highly available distributed systems\n\nBS in Computer Science / B.A. or equivalent work experience\n\nA team player with excellent communication and presentation skills\n\nThe estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $171,000- $213,750 per year in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate’s work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis’ total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions.
