You will provide end-to-end testing across multiple concurrent projects, covering functional, integration, end-to-end, industry and user acceptance testing. You will also coordinate and report on SIT/QA and UAT cycles through to formal sign-off.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tester with a banking or financial services background and strong stakeholder management skills.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\n\n Create test scenarios from business, functional and technical requirements, working with business stakeholders for user acceptance testing.\n\n Design accurate test cases that validate that business, functional, technical and industry requirements are met.\n\n Plan testing in a timely manner so that requirements are met and signed off on schedule.\n\n Execute test cases, analyse results, estimate testing effort accurately, and coordinate work activities with team members.\n\n Design and apply testing principles, build manual testing frameworks, and verify the best manual test approaches.\n\n Define regression packs based on critical business processes.\n\n Assist Automation Test Analysts with automation scripting and Performance Test Analysts with performance scripting.\n\n Coordinate and report on SIT/QA and UAT execution, and prepare sign-off documentation on completion.\n\n Liaise with internal and external stakeholders during end-to-end and industry testing.\n\n Produce key deliverables for each project, including:\n\n Test approach and test plans\n\n Test cases and test execution results\n\n Test progress reports and defect management reports\n\n Test deliverable sign-off certificates and test closure reports\n\n Knowledge transfer documentation per project, stored in an accessible repository\n\n Report to the Test Manager and provide management reporting.\n\n Perform other tasks closely related to the above.\n\nDesired Experience & Qualification\nQualifications\n\n Diploma or degree in IT (Software Development), or an equivalent qualification\n\n ISTQB Foundation or Test Analyst certification\n\n Test automation certification (advantageous)\n\nExperience\n\n 5 to 8 years’ experience in test execution and test analysis\n\n 3 to 6 years’ experience in functional and integration testing, including coordinating and reporting on UAT preparation, execution and sign-off\n\n Extensive knowledge of HP ALM\n\n Solid understanding of testing concepts, methodologies and techniques\n\n Knowledge of SWIFT standards and payment messages (MT and ISO 20022 preferred)\n\n Experience in banking and financial services\n\n Knowledge of different forms of communication and reporting\n\n Knowledge of the BPT (Business Process Testing) framework (advantageous)\n\n Automation testing experience (advantageous)\n\nCompetencies\n\n Conceptual thinking and strong attention to detail\n\n Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\n Excellent
