As a Solutions Engineer, you will help qualify and close opportunities with customers and partners and provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and supporting technical evaluations\nYou Will:\nWork alongside the sales team to introduce Redpanda to our potential customers\n\nLead product and solution briefings, build proof-of-concepts (POC), run live product demos, and prototype Redpanda integrations\n\nPartner with Redpanda product management, engineering and support teams to solve customer challenges and improve customer experience\n\nIdentify and address customers' key technical objections and develop the strategies to address those blockers to adoption\n\nYou Have:\n3-8+ years of prior experience leading presentations, collecting requirements, developing solution architectures, and teaching prospective users or project teams how to use software similar to Redpanda\n\nComfortable developing/prototyping solutions in many different languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, and Javascript)\n\nPassion for working on complex technical problems and have a strong understanding of modern infrastructure and streaming technologies (Kafka ecosystem preferred)\n\nStrong ability to build relationships with our partners, customers, and open-source users\n\nExperience demonstrating technical concepts, including presenting and whiteboarding\n\nCollaborative spirit and enjoy making sure each team gets customer feedback to provide great customer experience\n\nFlexibility to travel to meet customers, attend events or conferences or wherever the work takes you\n\nComfortable with Linux and Kubernetes\n\nProficient with one or more of the following cloud providers: AWS, GCP and Azure\n\nU.S. base salary range for this role is $170,000-$200,000, not including bonus and/or commission.
