Responsibilities:
- Leadership:Oversee non-public audits and reviews for clients in the manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate or commercial industry, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Expert Consultation:Provide expert advice on complex transactions, including business combinations, equity structures, and compensation agreements.
- Financial Reporting:Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements and related reports that inform key business decisions.
- Research:Direct and manage research projects, bringing innovative solutions to the table.
- Mentorship:Supervise, train, and mentor a team of experienced professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Client Management:Take charge of client relationships, delivering exceptional audit services and enhancing client satisfaction.
- Strategic Initiatives:Contribute to department-wide initiatives, including the implementation of new audit and accounting standards.
What You Need to be Successful:
- Educational Background:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Professional Credentials:Active CPA license.
- Experience:5+ years in public accounting with experience in the manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate or commercial industry preferred.
- Technical Expertise:Advanced knowledge of audit and accounting standards, with the ability to apply these to a variety of client scenarios.
- Flexibility:Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (up to 20% during peak periods).
- Valid Driver's License
