This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working with multiple clients, collaborating closely with business owners and project teams, and turning financial data into actionable insight.\nWhat We Offer:\nHybrid work schedule with flexibility.\nA hands-on, high-impact role supporting active client operations.\nA supportive team environment within Redpath and Company, a firm of CPAs and advisors.\nDirect collaboration with client owners, project managers, and internal team members.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage client-level budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to support operational and financial goals.\nMonitor job cost performance, identify variances, and partner with client leaders to address risks and improve profitability.\nPrepare and review financial analysis, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting to support informed decision-making.\nMaintain accurate, complete, and confidential client financial records.\nSupport timely and accurate monthly close and financial statement preparation.\nSupervise, review, and coordinate work performed by Redpath associates related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and billing.\nStrengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures to support scalability, consistency, and risk management.\nCommunicate regularly with client leadership to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure deadlines are met.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.\n5+ years of accounting experience, with prior controller, CAS, or outsourced accounting experience preferred.\nStrong knowledge of job cost accounting, WIP reporting, revenue recognition, and financial controls.\nExperience working with client-facing operations and project teams in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.\nExperience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or other job-cost-heavy industries preferred.\nHigh attention to detail, strong ownership, and a professional demeanor.\nAbility to work independently, manage competing priorities, and proactively solve problems.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into practical business insights.\nAbout Redpath and Company:\nRedpath and Company helps clients make more informed decisions that contribute to their financial well-being by providing proactive, innovative, and value-driven CPA and advisory services for closely held businesses, private equity, government entities, and nonprofit organizations.
