supervisors and technical teams, you will be responsible for the planning, design, monitoring and optimisation of underground drilling and blasting activities to achieve safe, productive and cost-effective mining outcomes.\nThis is a hands-on site-based role where you'll spend time underground building relationships with crews, understanding operational challenges and developing practical solutions that contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nThis position operates on an 8/6 FIFO roster, offering the opportunity to work on a leading underground gold mining operation while maintaining a strong work-life balance.\n Key Responsibilities\nPrepare drilling, blasting and mine plans to support production targets and schedules.\nDesign and optimise drill patterns, charging designs and firing sequences.\nConduct underground inspections and provide technical support to operational teams.\nMonitor blast performance and complete stope performance analysis.\nIdentify opportunities to improve productivity, recovery, dilution control and mining efficiency.\nMaintain accurate production and development data and reporting.\nWork collaboratively with supervisors, operators and site leadership to achieve operational objectives.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across underground mining activities.\n About You:\nDegree qualified in Mining Engineering.\nExperience in underground hard rock mining environments.\nExposure to drill and blast, mine planning or mine engineering activities.\nExperience using mine planning and scheduling software.\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills.\nA hands-on approach with a genuine desire to work closely with underground
