We specialise in shaft sinking, mine development, raiseboring, underground construction, and technical services.\nAs we continue to grow, we’re looking for experienced operators ready to play a key role in our next chapter.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Jumbo Operator, you’ll be responsible for the safe operation of the Jumbo, monitoring to ensure the safety of the workers in the face area and ensuring that the face remains on design path whilst reporting or rectifying any issues.\n Carry out bolt and bore drilling patterns, identify and rectify misfires, and relocate the Jumbo as required.\nRead and follow plans and instructions, assess ground conditions, and install additional ground support as required.\nAssist and provide instruction to crew members, particularly offsiders, in the safe and effective execution of drill and blast operations.\nShut down and lock out the Jumbo when required for repairs, maintenance, and other work, in accordance with site safety procedures.\nProvide Shift Supervisors with drilling operation details and equipment faults for rectification, while ensuring compliance with all relevant company and client procedures.\n About You\nPrevious experience operating underground Jumbos in development headings.\n\nAbilitytointerpretmineplans,drillpatterns,developmentdesignsandoperationalinstructions.\n\nUnderstandingofundergroundgroundconditions,geologicalstructuresandpotentialgroundinstability.\n\nStrongproblem-solvingskillsandtheabilitytorespondappropriatelytochangingoperationalconditions.\n\nMust have a valid manual drivers license\n\nWhy Join Redpath?\nThis is a full time, long-term opportunity with excellent job security benefits:\nCompetitive hourly rates + super paid on all hours\n\nEven time roster for true work life balance\n\nOngoing training & OEM accredited trade courses\n\nClear career progression pathways\n\nPPE provided\n\nSalary Sacrifice options for Superannuation and Novated car leasing\n\nDiscounted health insurance with BUPA\n\nPrescription safety glasses reimbursement (up to $200)\n\nEmployee Assistance Program -
