Manager in the day-to-day management of underground mining operations.\nLead and promote a strong safety culture across all work areas.\nEnsure project activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual requirements.\nMonitor production performance and assist with achieving operational targets.\nCoordinate labour, equipment, and resources to maximise productivity.\nMaintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and site personnel.\nAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.\nProvide leadership, mentoring, and development opportunities for supervisors and site personnel.\nEnsure compliance with all statutory regulations, company procedures, and client requirements.\nParticipate in incident investigations and corrective action processes.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, productivity, and profitability.\nPrepare and review operational reports and project performance data.\n To be successful in this position, you will possess:\nSignificant experience in underground mining operations.\nPrevious experience in a Superintendent, Alternate Project Manager, Project Manager, or similar leadership role.\nStrong understanding of underground development and production mining activities.\nProven leadership and people management skills.\nExperience managing operational performance, budgets, and project outcomes.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nSound understanding of mining legislation and safety management systems.\nAbility to make informed decisions in a dynamic operational environment.\nCurrent Australian Driver's Licence.\nRelevant mining qualifications and statutory certifications highly
