We take pride in our superior service level and celebrate our employees - the heart of our company’s success\n ABOUT THE ROLE\nReporting to the Shift Boss, you will play an important role in supporting underground development and production activities through the safe and efficient operation of Load Haul Dump (LHD) equipment. Working as part of a professional and safety-focused underground mining team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, productivity and equipment care.\nKey responsibilities include:\nSafely and efficiently operating underground boggers/LHD equipment\n\nLoading, hauling and dumping ore and waste from production and development headings\n\nMaintaining high standards of workplace housekeeping and effective stockpile management\n\nCompleting thorough pre-start inspections and promptly identifying and reporting equipment defects or maintenance requirements\n\nWorking collaboratively with Jumbo Operators, Charge-Up Crew, Shift Supervisors and other underground personnel\n\nFollowing all site safety requirements, operational procedures and established mining practices\n\nSupporting a strong team culture through effective communication, cooperation and a professional approach\n\nContributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity and operational performance\n\n ABOUT YOU\nWorking within a unique mining operation at Cowal, you will join a highly safety-focused team of professionals and utilise your skills and experience as an Underground Bogger Operator.\nTo be considered for this opportunity, you will require:\nPrevious underground mining experience as a Bogger Operator is essential\n\nDemonstrated competency operating Sandvik and/or CAT underground loaders\n\nCurrent Manual Driver’s License\n\nA positive outlook with the aspiration to achieve high standards and take pride in your work\n\nStrong commitment to safety, teamwork and operational excellence\n\nAbility to work effectively in a production focused mining environment\n\nExcellent communication, problem-solving and decision making
