This is an exciting opportunity to work on a long-term project with a respected mining contractor while contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of underground mine development activities.\n About the Role\nAs a Charge Up Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient charging of underground development headings in preparation for blasting activities. You will work closely with Jumbo Operators, Shift Supervisors and underground crews to ensure drill and blast activities are completed safely, accurately and in accordance with site procedures.\nKey Responsibilities\nCharge underground development headings in accordance with blast designs and site procedures\nSafely handle and load explosives and initiating systems\nPrepare and tie in blast rounds for firing\nConduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks\nEnsure compliance with all explosives handling, storage and transport requirements\nWork closely with Jumbo Operators and supervisors to maintain development schedules\nIdentify and report hazards, incidents and equipment defects\nComplete charging documentation and blast records as required\nMaintain high housekeeping and safety standards underground\n About You\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\nPrevious underground mining experience in a Charge Up role\nDemonstrated experience charging underground development headings\nCurrent explosives handling accreditation and relevant mining tickets\nStrong understanding of drill and blast practices and safety procedures\nCommitment to safety and
