This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoys partnering with managers to navigate complex people matters.\nAbout the Role\nReporting to the HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting leaders across the business on a broad range of employee relations and industrial relations matters. This position is heavily focused on providing practical, commercial advice while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and enterprise agreements.\nThis role is based full-time in our Brisbane office and works closely with operational and corporate stakeholders across Australia.\n Key Responsibilities\nProvide expert advice and support on employee relations and workplace matters.\nLead and support workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, and performance management matters.\nManage grievances and complaints while ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.\nCoach and develop leaders in best-practice people management.\nInterpret and provide advice on employment legislation, modern awards, enterprise agreements, and company policies.\nAssist with industrial relations matters, including consultation processes and dispute resolution.\nSupport organisational change initiatives, restructures, and workforce planning activities.\nPrepare HR documentation, correspondence, and investigation reports.\nMonitor emerging employment law developments and recommend practical solutions to the business.\nContribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.\n About You\nTo be successful in this role, you will bring:\nTertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations, Law, or a related discipline.\nPrevious experience in a HR Advisor, Employee Relations Advisor, or HR Business Partner role.\nStrong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial instruments.\nDemonstrated experience managing employee relations cases from end to end.\nExcellent investigation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.\nA practical, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to influence leaders at all levels.\nExperience within mining, construction, engineering, manufacturing, or other blue-collar industries will be highly regarded.\nWhat We Offer\nOpportunity to work with a respected global mining contractor.\nChallenging and rewarding employee relations portfolio.\nExposure to a diverse national workforce and operational environment.\nCompetitive salary package.\nSupportive and collaborative team culture.\nCareer development opportunities within a growing organisation.\nImportant Information\nThis is an office-based role located in Brisbane.
