This is an exciting opportunity to work on a long-term project with a respected mining contractor while contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of mine development activities.\n About the Role\nAs a Jumbo Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground development drill rigs, supporting mine development activities while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity and quality.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate twin-boom jumbo drill rigs safely and efficiently\nDrill development headings in accordance with mine plans and specifications\nAccurately mark up and drill production and development rounds\nPerform pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks\nIdentify and rectify minor equipment issues where appropriate\nEnsure drilling activities meet safety, quality and production targets\nWork closely with supervisors, charge-up crews and other underground personnel\nIdentify and report hazards, incidents and equipment defects\nMaintain high housekeeping and operational standards underground\n About You\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\nPrevious underground mining experience operating development jumbo drill rigs (Sandvik DD422i Jumbos)\nDemonstrated experience drilling underground development headings\nStrong understanding of underground development and drill and blast practices\nCommitment to safety and operational excellence\nAbility to work effectively within a high-performing team environment\nRelevant mining competencies, licences and tickets\nCurrent
