The Junior IT Business Analyst is also responsible for supporting, implementing, and continuously improving quality assurance practices across projects and teams. This role combines hands-on testing experience, test strategy execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure products meet functional, performance, security, and reliability standards before deployment. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.\nSalary Range - 55,000 - 75,000\nWork Model - Onsite\n Health and Safety:\nHaving the authority and responsibility to maintain a safe and efficient working environment\nFollowing Company health and safety standards and reporting any unsafe acts or conditions\nOperations Management:\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive test scenarios, and test cases based on business and functional requirements for functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing for Zephyr\nExecute manual functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities for new implementations, enhancements, and system upgrades\nValidate that business requirements, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria are met prior to production deployment\nIdentify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution, working closely with the project and support teams\nSupport testing cycles across development, test, and production environments\nParticipate in release readiness reviews and provide quality sign-off recommendations\nDevelop and maintain test evidence and documentation to support audit, compliance, and change management requirements\nLog, track, and validate defects using Jira \nMonitor testing metrics, defect trends, and quality indicators to identify opportunities for process improvement\nEnsure traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and releases\nPrepare status reports where required\nPerform in-depth tests for modified and new system \nPrepare BRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional documentation\nWork with and assist project teams on implementation or upgrades of new and existing business solutions\nFollow proper change management processes when performing any changes to solutions\nOther duties as required to support the IT Business Applications team\n Education\nRequired: College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, or management information systems and 2+ years of related work experience\n\nWork Experience:\nRequired: 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or QA Analyst in deployment and support of software systems implementations within a global environment (cloud, hosted and on-premise platforms)\n\nKnowledge Required\nHands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. REST/API automation)\n\nWorking knowledge of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies and testing best practice\n\nExperience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Octane)\n\nExcellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills\n\nOracle Fusion Knowledge (technical, ERP, HCM) including basic functional knowledge of related modules (GL, AR, AP, PPM, SCM, Core HR, Talent, Recruitment, Absence)\n\nISTQB, ECBA, or Oracle Fusion certifications considered an asset\n\nPersonal Attributes\nFluent English language
