We are seeking an experienced Safety & Training Coordinator to support the safe mobilisation, development and operation of one of Australia's most significant underground mining projects.\nAbout the Role\nReporting to site leadership, the Safety & Training Coordinator will support the implementation of safety systems, training programs and workforce competency management to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate site training, onboarding and competency management systems\nMaintain employee training records and compliance documentation\nSupport safety initiatives, inspections and audits\nAssist with incident investigations and corrective actions\nFacilitate inductions and site-specific training programs\nMonitor statutory training and refresher requirements\nPromote a proactive safety culture across all work groups\nPrepare reports, training matrices and compliance documentation\nSupport workforce mobilisation and contractor compliance processes\nLiaise with operational leaders, employees and external training providers\n About You\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\nPrevious experience in Safety, Training or Workforce Development within mining, construction or heavy industry\nKnowledge of training and competency management systems\nUnderstanding of workplace health and safety legislation and practices\nStrong administrative, organisational and communication skills\nAbility to influence and engage with operational personnel\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to compliance\nCertificate IV in Training &
