This person will be the strategic partner to SRE, Operations and Core Platform Engineering, ensuring the platform runs reliably, the right work gets prioritised, and business stakeholders have a clear intake path.\nResponsibilities:\nBuild a new Admin Tool bringing multiple operations groups together.\nOwn Site and Platform Reliability Goals.\nDefine and maintain SLOs (Service Level Objectives) and SLIs (Service Level Indicators) for all customer-critical flows.\nStakeholder management - work with various stakeholders within operations and client-facing teams, understand their priorities and needs.\nTranslate product expectations into measurable reliability targets that SRE can engineer to.\nIdentify and prioritise Top Flows, the highest-impact user journeys, and ensure they are monitored and protected.\nLead quarterly reliability reviews with engineering and business stakeholders.\nRun the Business Well:\nOwn \"Keep Lights On\" accountability, ensuring operational continuity across Pay Ops, Customer Ops, and Compliance Ops.\nPrioritise the work on the roadmap, making trade-offs explicit and visible - all by using data.\nTrack live operational health metrics and escalate risks proactively to engineering and business leadership.\nCoordinate incident response communications across stakeholders when SLA thresholds are at risk.\nManage Intake from Business Teams:\nServe as the single point of coordination for platform requests from Pay Ops, Customer Ops, and Compliance Ops.\nRun a structured intake process: triage, size, prioritise, and schedule work transparently.\nReduce ad-hoc requests and unplanned interruptions to SRE engineering capacity.\nMaintain a visible backlog that business stakeholders can track and trust.\nDefine Product Requirements for Core Platform Engineering team:\nAuthor clear functional and non-functional requirements for platform features and infrastructure investments.\nPartner with Core Platform Engineering to ensure requirements are feasible, scoped, and well-accepted.\nDefine and track success metrics for platform feature launches.\nBuild and maintain a product roadmap that aligns platform investment with business priorities.\nGovern Production Data and Change Control:\nOwn the end-to-end process for authorising access to production data and approving production changes.\nBalance operational agility with compliance and risk requirements.\nWork with Compliance Ops to ensure change control processes meet regulatory requirements.\nMaintain audit trails and documentation for production change approvals.\nRequirements:\n10+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 5 years in a platform, infrastructure, or operational tools context.\nStrong understanding of how operational processes and tools work, and of various operational workflows.\nStrong understanding of SRE principles: SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, incident management, and on-call operations.\nProven ability to translate technical complexity into clear business requirements and executive communications.\nExperience working with cross-functional stakeholders in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments.\nDemonstrated ability to build and manage a prioritised product backlog under competing demands.\nPreferred:\nBackground in fintech, payments, or other high-availability, high-compliance environments.\nExperience running incident retrospectives and problem management processes.\nMBA or engineering degree or equivalent hands-on
